The fear of going all in

When I left my corporate job in 2021, I had built my energy work income to ~$4k/month while working 60 hours a week

My motivation was my dream of doing the work I love while having freedom and financial security

But...

In the first 8 months after leaving, things were hard.

I was showing up online every day, posting, working with hourly clients (who were amazing btw) and yet I didn't want to be on the hamster wheel of it all.

(I stared at her realizing she's coming from a strictly business approach)

My prices were already premium and I was comfortable with them - this wasn't simply about charging more like the online business coaches talk about who sell business packages on business packages to make "$100k months, $3million in 2.85743 years"

I sell real services, ones that tangibly help people transform, the ol' "sell the dream!" offer wasn't going to cut it for me.

I knew there needed to be a balance with the masculine and feminine, a way that supported the abundant creativity I had without stifling me.

As I began to study and learn more about the online space - being that my business background is in Finance and I've been an investor since I was 16, approaching business from the online world instead of a store front was new to me.

I studied, I applied things, whole heartedly mind you, and I couldn't quite figure out why it wasn't sticking...and as we know....

First, I recognized that a lot of these online coaching and packages are smoke and mirrors, okay so where does that leave the rest of us who give a damn and desire to authentically create a business we love that gives us financial freedom?

Showing a lavish lifestyle, talking about my s*x life online, showcasing new expensive things - and for the record, I do NOT admonish those things, I do not however, prefer to talk about them in the online space!

I'm a chill Projector in Human Design who likes to be nestled into bed by 9:30pm.

Then...

on the flip side...

I had other intuitives and healers in my ear saying "if you really truly about this work you wouldn't charge"

Or

"You should let people come to you."

I sat in a lot of my feels and a lot of frustration for a really long time.

And don't get my wrong, I was still loving the work I was doing and clients were getting amazing results (this is key and also how we know we're on the right track)

And in the frustration I got really still.

I reflected, I meditated, I asked questions.

And no, the answers did not come to me in a flash of lightening!

But they did come to me...
